Ahh, you guys, I am going through major stripper burnout.  I am pushing through, and my goal is to quit by July 4, 2013 (ie: down to one weekend a month).  I promise I haven’t abandoned the project, I am just focusing on school and other career goals so that I can retire from the industry.  I still respond to emails, and I still plan to publish pieces in the future.  Feel free to email me!

NEW DANCERS

I am working diligently on stripper 101.  You can reply here or email me through the contact page on survivetheclub.com.  I think I have most things covered, but is there anything specific that you want me to elaborate on?  What are your biggest concerns about starting stripping, or early on in your journey?

So glad I found this site!

I just started dancing 6 months ago, and since then my life has dramatically changed. Mostly in good ways but in some negative ways as well. I am so glad that i have found this site. Everything you have talked about is so dead on that what I am dealing with and it is so comforting to know that we all have to deal with these things. So thank you! Thank you for being there and helping.

Anonymous asked: I have been thinking about being a stripper for a while but am a little scared to just go and apply somewhere.. Do you have any advice as to how to start and tips of what to do/ what not to do when I do start?

Can you/anyone else with this question email me through the contact form on my site?  I am working on a program for y’all but I currently am not ready to publish.  I will be happy to send snippets your way!

croutonwinner asked: i'm 26, just finished an MSW from 1 of the top programs in the country, i danced from 17-23 on and off and i have no debt. i don't have any student loans either. the only "loan" i have is for my Hyundai (best warranty/resale value on the road), i could've paid flat out but the loan helps my credit score. So i guess i'll "give myself a hug". i did it by being raised by $$ savvy jews, but yet ALL i can think about lately is saying FUCK my "real" job, i wanna go back to Scores. WTF is wrong with me

there is NOTHING wrong with loving what you do, girl.  Do it for as long as you can, and retire wealthy.  Sounds to me like the only problem you have is self doubt, but don’t worry, we all have it :) keep up the good work.
